Solar Ireland 2023

Ireland has significantly raised its solar energy targets for 2030 to 8 GW (more than triple the original target). This ambitious move presents the solar energy sector with a major challenge in Ireland’s history of renewable energy. With plans to invest between 5 and 6.4 billion euros in Ireland by 2030, enormous opportunities lie ahead for the entire solar energy sector.

The Solar Ireland 2023 event focused on capitalizing on these opportunities, fostering (international) collaboration, and overcoming any potential obstacles. Solora was also in attendance, and we found it fascinating to learn about this market and the opportunities it offers in the area of O&M.
