Preventive Maintenance Technician for Renewable Energy – Flanders

We’re currently expanding rapidly, and to optimally manage our growing portfolio, we’re actively seeking an additional Preventive Maintenance Technician who can make a difference in the field.

As a Preventive Maintenance Technician, you’ll be part of the Operations & Maintenance team and report to the team leader. You’ll be out in the field every day visiting customers in Flanders to perform preventive maintenance on industrial solar installations (solar panels, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and charging infrastructure) and keep them in optimal condition.

Your key responsibilities:

• You ’ll perform thorough inspections of inverters, electrical cabinets, battery systems (BESS), and charging infrastructure
• You’ ll take various measurements and capture images using a thermal camera
• You will perform a visual inspection of panels, mounting systems, battery modules, and charging stations
• You will address minor issues independently; for more complex issues, you will involve the O&M team
• You manage your own schedule and administrative reporting via the company app and head directly to the customer each day in a fully equipped company vehicle.

• have electrical knowledge gained through training or relevant work experience.
• hold a Class B driver’s license.
• work with precision and accurately document the work performed.
• have a good command of Dutch. Knowledge of French and English is a plus.
• work independently on-site and take ownership of your assignments.
• Do you already have experience with solar installations, battery energy storage systems (BESS), or charging infrastructure? If so, you’ll have an added advantage.
