Group IT Manager
Solora, founded in 2014, is a fast-growing and service-oriented company specialized in the design, realization and management of industrial solar panel installations. With a team of over 80 employees, we stand for innovation, customer focus and quality. As a leading service provider in the operations & maintenance of solar parks, we also deliver complete B2B projects for solar panels, BESS and EMS in Belgium, the Netherlands and France. Digitalization and IT play a crucial role in our further growth, scalability and operational efficiency.

To support our continued growth, we are currently looking for a Group IT Manager.

Position

As Group IT Manager, you are responsible for developing, managing and optimizing the IT landscape within the Solora Group. You translate the business strategy into a future-oriented IT vision and ensure stable, secure and scalable IT solutions that support the organization in its growth.

You act as a bridge between business and technology, taking on both a strategic and operational role.

What does your job look like?

  • Managing and optimizing IT infrastructure, applications and cloud environments
  • Structuring and overseeing IT service management (incidents, changes, SLAs)
  • Leading IT and digitalization projects, and actively identifying and implementing AI applications
  • Defining and safeguarding the IT roadmap, architecture and standards
  • Advising management on digital transformation and IT investments
  • Managing external IT partners and suppliers
  • Responsible for cybersecurity, GDPR and data protection
  • Leading and coaching (internal and external) IT profiles
  • Closely collaborating with stakeholders as an IT business partner

What makes you successful?

  • Strong educational background in Computer Science, Business Informatics or equivalent
  • Several years of experience in an IT management role, preferably in a multi-site environment
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft environments, IT security, networks, storage and backup & recovery
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, M365, Odoo and Azure Virtual Desktop is a plus
  • Hands-on, service-oriented and strong sense of responsibility
  • Analytical, solution-oriented and strong communication skills
