What does your job look like?

In this versatile role, you will be responsible for supporting our accounting team. Your tasks include, among others:

• Full accounting from A to Z for one of our Belgian entities;
• Entering purchase and sales invoices;
• Executing payments via an online payment system;
• Providing operational support together with colleagues (support with year-end closing, tax returns and audits);
• Following up outstanding customer and supplier balances;
• Managing our asset management companies;
• Managing the shared accounting mailbox and communicating clearly with customers and suppliers;
• Handling practical matters such as expense claims, Visa expenses and mail.

What makes you successful?

• Preferably, you hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and have knowledge of Belgian accounting legislation (BE GAAP) and tax regulations (VAT and corporate income tax);
• You have proven experience as an accountant (freelance or permanent);
• You have strong communication skills and are both customer- and team-oriented;
• You have a good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Knowledge of Exact Online is a strong asset!
